Character:
The high temperature molybdenum mandrels have been developed by our company and the materials science & engineer Institute.The R&D crafts include selecting and mixing raw materials which are compressed into embryos material, sintering in the intermediate frequency furnace in 1850-1950°C and then turning and molding.The average density of the products is more than 9.7g/cm3. Compared with the common molybdenum mandrels, the density improves 2%-6%, the vickers hardness reaches above 350kg/mm2 and the abrasion resistance increase 60%-80%.
Additional composition:
Ti(1.0~2.0)%, Zr:(0.1~0.5)%, C: (0.1~0.5)% and other trace element.
Main applications:
Mainly used for piercing steel tubes, such as stainless steel tubes, high-temperature alloy steel and seamless steel tube etc.
